I have always, loved lettering and fonts and all things alphabetical : ) When lettering books came on the market when I was a small girl, I was in heaven! My hubby and I joke about my typography obsession and the thousands of fonts I have saved on my computer (!).

My oldest boy has the same bug - today he created his own font, drawing letters on top of surf boards, and my youngest insisted on having his name written in 'twisty' (a.k.a cursive) font on his birthday cake!

This first image below has been floating around blogs for a little while now. I came across it again the other day over at Design Is Mine (via Living Etc). It is such a great way to display a fab collection of typography...

... and then I found etsy store 26 Olive Street; their letter collection mixed with their old school educational posters and vintage classroom goodness - well that's a whole other kind of heaven!! check it out...
