Elizabeth Graeber + Jennifer Eng + Elsa-May

Happy Friday!

It's the end of the week already! These alphabet's of ours really do gather momentum when they get going!

Elizabeth Graeber

I have been considering doing some more illustration and drawing of my own and have been noting artists and illustrators who's work I find inspiring.

Elizabeth Graeber's sketch book is full of inspiration, it encourages me to get out a pen and draw! I quite often procrastinate about my own creativity, but I am hoping that as I delve deeper into Elizabeth's work I will find that the urge to draw becomes irresistible!

Don't you just love this series of Birds? The owls are divine!

Jennifer Eng

Jennifer Eng produces a range of fresh and fun paper products. Printed and assembled in her New York studio, Jennifer's designs are "inspired by original photographs, textiles, and all things in nature; colour shapes, texture, and patterns, making plain paper fresh and fun".

I really enjoy the crispness of each of Jennifer's images and the process she goes through to reach her final product - Jennifer uses images taken from original photographs that are then digitally enhanced to create her fabulous prints... check it out...

I am so pleased to be ending this first week of alphabet*seven with Elsa-May.

I became 'online friends' with Annie from Elsa-May when we discovered that we not only lived in the same city, but also knew people in common.

Annie recently moved to Portland (OR), **jealous!**, so we never had a chance to meet in person, but I tell you, this woman has impeccable taste and style, and her blog includes a nice dose of design and fashion with a bit of daily life and poetry... I really do think you should make her lovely blog a regular read : )

enjoy!

Today also marks the end of another school term as we head in to two weeks of school holidays...My plan is that the juggling of alphabets, full-time kids and holiday adventures will merge together seamlessly : ) I am so looking forward to having time with the boys, the holiday list of things to do is filling fast, and with summer knocking on our door we are looking forward to some outdoor fun.

Have a wonderful weekend! See you Monday! xxoo
